Come and visit one of the"World's Finest Collections of Vintage Aircraft!" During this photographic tour of the Canadian Aviation Museum in Ottawa, you will learn all about the history of aviation of the world as you walk through the museum while I show you how to get strong well composed photographs of the various displays inside this museum.
The display inludes many aircraft from the Pioneer Era ie: Silver Dart, Curtis JN-4, First World War ie: R.A.F. B.E.2c, Sopwith 7F.1 Snipe, Bush Flying ie: Curtiss Seagull, Fairchild FC-2W-2, Second World War ie: Messerschmitt Bf 109-4, Hawker Huricane, Helicopters, Jet Age, Vertical Flight and more!
Advance reservations required. Safari groups are generally 3-6 people only. Open to any photographer at any skill level with any DSLR camera.
Meet at Museum entrance off Aviation Parkway 1:30 pm.
Fee:$59/person CDN. An admission fee to the museum of $6 is also required by participants.

Bring your camera, savor the lights of Ottawa by night and improve your understanding of your camera equipment as you join an exciting evening photographic tour of the NCC Christmas Light display in downtown Ottawa and on Parliament Hill.
In this Safari—offered on several evenings during December—you will have the opportunity to photograph the National Capital Commission Christmas Lights in Ottawa which are SPECTACULAR! You will find out how to use your camera creatively so that you will have some classic well exposed and well composed photographs. Instruction in composition, exposure issues in nighttime photography, and proper white balance and color filtration will be covered.
Bring your camera equipment, all your lenses, a flashlight or penlight, and a STURDY tripod for this adventure into night time photography.

Every February, Canada's Capital Region is host to Winterlude in Ottawa, North America's greatest winter celebration. Three fun-filled weekends of excitement and activity await the whole family! From spectacular ice carvings to an amazing playground made of snow, Winterlude is a great way to take in the best of our Canadian winter.
In this Ottawa Photo Safari offered during the NCC Winterlude Festival you will have the opportunity to photograph the Ice and Snow Sculptures when they are the most beautiful: at night time!
Bring your camera and improve your understanding of using your equipment at night as you join an exciting evening photographic tour of the Ice and Snow Sculptures.
You will learn to use your camera creatively and will receive instruction in composition, exposure issues in night time photography, and proper white balance and colour filtration.
Bring your camera equipment, all your lenses, a flashlight or penlight, and your tripod tripod for an adventure in night time photography at one of the most popular winter festivals in one of the most beautiful cities in North America.
Don't forget to bring spare batteries and make sure you dress warm!

Improve your understanding of your digital camera equipment as you join an exciting photographic Safari through the world- renowned tulip beds in Commissioners Park in Ottawa, Ontario.
In this 3-hour Photo Safari, offered during the Canadian Tulip Festival in Ottawa you will have the opportunity to photograph some of the 300,000 spectacular tulip blooms at their peak that grace Commissioners Park in Ottawa. The spring flowers that grace in lush abundance will be begging to be photographed.
You will learn to use your camera creatively so that you will have some classic tulip photographs to display.. Instruction in the techniques of flower photography: composition, exposure issues, depth of field, macro photography, and proper white balance and color filtration will be provided.
Bring all your lenses (a macro lens is especially handy for this one,) and a STURDY tripod for this new adventure into travel photography at one of the most beautiful cities in North America.
Meet at the Dow's Lake Pavilion across from Commissioners Park in Ottawa at 9:30AM.
